Fiberglass Ladders

Fiberglass ladders are an excellent choice when you need a long- lasting, durable, ladder. Fiberglass is strong and does not conduct electricity, and it is corrosion and weather resistant. With Michigan Ladder fiberglass ladders, you also get the biggest rivets in the industry as well as precision locking mechanisms, and our “Super Shoe” that protects the bottom of the ladder. Our ladders are truly a cut above our competition’s – no one comes close to matching the strength and durability of our products.

Wood Ladders

Michigan Ladder proudly uses the most renewable resource on Earth. All of our step ladders are made of southern yellow pine, a fast-growing, well-managed American product that will continue to provide strength and durability to our products for years to come. Favorable growing conditions, wise forest management, and efficient manufacturing ensure a continuous supply of high-quality southern yellow pine products for future generations. Southern yellow pine consists of four main species — shortleaf, longleaf, loblolly, and slash — and is the preferred choice for today’s design/build professionals.

History

Our company served as a quiet witness to the surging changes of history around it. The delivery wagons became trucks. Automobiles, including Preston Tucker's prototype, sped increasingly faster past its doors. B-24 bomber planes took their first test flights out of Willow Run over its roof before taking off for Europe to win World War II. The trains roared past, and then came less frequently. Other businesses grew and declined, and sometimes disappeared. Through it all, Michigan Ladder Company survived and thrived by stepping up to the challenges of every new decade throughout its first century.
